"Cool place. We have been here 3 times over the years, nice walk to the lighthouse but don't go out there if the waves are high!!"
"Nice place to enjoy a walk on the beach, with a playground for families and children to enjoy. The nearest restroom is at the mini-golf across the street, with no clear direction to it. The pier is fun to walk, although it is quite long. Plenty of parking, and house of flavors is just a few minutes away if you want to walk. Good place to take pictures and look at the sunset as well."
"Very beautiful. Has two convenient concession stands (northern one was nicer). Beach is very clean. Nice sidewalks along parking and down to beautiful beach. Walk to lighthouse is easy to walk on. Such a wonderful view. Be sure to bring your camera."
"Beautiful free park and great place to take the family. Enjoy the shaded picnic tables, play in the sand on the lake shore, or hike on out to the North Breakwater Light. Kids loved walking along the water edge and all the fish and sea gulls. Only costs if you chose to pay to climb to the top of the light. I never mind a cost when you consider it helps with conversation. Military friendly as they are allowed entrance for free!"
"Nice park and beach, great walk on the pier out to the lighthouse. It's a bit of a hike but well worth it. I thought the park allowed dogs as everything online said it did, but after we were on our way off the beach (the sidewalks were cleared of sand from the crews while we were on the pier), we saw the notes on the sidewalk "no dogs". Would have been nice for actual signs, which I looked for and didn't find."
