Markey Township Memorial Park

"This park is fun for all kids - young, old, & fury! We have kids that range from ages 2-13 - we easily spent 60 min here (two different days) & the kids still didn’t want to leave. There are 4 nice & large playground areas, a gaga ball pit, a zip line swing (so fun!), a covered pavilion with picnic tables, benches throughout the park, nice paved trails, & exercise challenges along the trails. Let’s not forget about the super nice bathrooms - the women’s has a changing table. There is also a great dog park area & disc golf course too! So much for everyone to do!"

"Fishing, trails for riding/hiking, scenery, animals, bugs lol. What a cool place to visit if you want to get out and away and enjoy nature. The trails are wide enough and flat enough for bikes. They have signs that mark the different looped trails with markings. It's kinda tough to fish anywhere but on the dock or out in the water. I really enjoyed this little gem away from the main lake."

"Awesome park with three playgrounds, a zip line that I've never seen at another park which the kids loved, paved walking trails, disc golf course, and hiking/biking trails that connect to Marl Lake and South Higgins Lake State Park campground. We road our bikes from the campground to the park three times. There is a big hill you have to climb on the hiking trail to the park which we pushed ours bikes up. The park also has workout stations around the paved walking paths that are really cool. It has a dog park, baseball fields, volleyball and soccer. A nice pavilion with bathrooms and picnic tables."
