Reviews
"A hidden gem! The trailhead is easy to locate, and ample parking is available, though the entrance is not paved (may be rutty). This natural area does not have official trails...but numerous deer trails can be spotted with a keen eye. This natural area offers so many types of habitat to keep anyone interested. This is especially true for bird watchers; the spring season offers some great opportunities! I spotted numerous nests among the shrubs and saplings. Also a prime location to visit if interested in landscape photography. The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy protects this land, and many other lands nearby, including Yuba Creek Natural Area and Deep water Point Natural Area. Please be safe, wear a mask, and social distance. If parking lot is full of cars, choose a less populated preserve. And enjoy!"
"I didn't see any hiking trails. I think the area is more for hunting. If you like hunting you might give it a 5 star rating"
