Silver Creek Pathway

"The Silver Creek Pathway is really for hiking and I must say that it is the best place to hike in all of Michigan without having to deal with any crowds. There are dramatic vistas and beautiful nature that reminds me a lot like the Manistee North Country trail in Brethren. Just to note, the hike is 4.4 miles long and there are a few uphill climbs, but it's very much worth it."

"Great place to go camping. Where you won't have to worry about any one being to close. Probably shouldn't take a car back there when it rains but you can make it back there In one"

"A nice walking trail along the river. Witness of the nature. Beware of mosquitoes, especially on the east side of the river. Insect repellent is recommended. Car parking is limited!"

"A very well signed trail for the majority of it, except when it was not - 1/3 on the way up, had to descend a very steep slope to get back on track. Beautiful views along the river with varied terrain and turns. It was a gorgeous sunny 45 degree November (Black Friday) afternoon. However, I regret not having hiking poles, as there were snowy and icy stretches, esp the downhill ones. I would definitely like to come again."

"This is an absolutely beautiful trail. Could be a little better marked and cared for but guess it gives character! Just beware there are some slippery spots."
