"Fantastic walk. To be done in the winter to enjoy the various landscapes."
"There wasn't too much parking, but there were a few spaces open when we arrived in the middle of the day. The beach is gorgeous, turquoise blue. A lot of people were bringing chairs and coolers since it's only a 0.3-mile walk to the beach h. It's probably the nicest beach we saw in the park."
"A driving trail, through well preserved and maintained paved roads. Plenty of stopping stations on its route with exciting views and scenarios. Has the entry fee but worth it."
"The scenery was gorgeous. The best views in the area. The hike around the dunes was a tough one. I’m not a fan of sand on a good day and this didn’t endear me in any way. Definitely make sure to stock up on water and hit the bathroom before starting this endeavor as 98% of the hike is sand and sun. I think I got an inkling of what it’s like being a desert nomad."
"A hidden gem! We have small children (8,6,3) so we knew we wouldn't make it up the "Dune climb". This is the perfect alternative. The path is all sand, with some Dune grass mixed in. Water shoes were the perfect choice. They also were the perfect shoe choice because there are rocks in the water. The beach is sandy but also lots of smallish rocks and nice waves. Excellent spot for rock hunting. If you are looking for those Caribbean blue waters this is the spot. We were there on a July afternoon and it was absolutely beautiful. It's about a half mile down to the water, but also you can hike up another Dune on the right side and get a great view. Definitely one if our favorite spots from our week up north. Must see!"
