"Excellant location for marsh birds, warblers etc. Paved trail for bicycling. Good fishing from the bridge. If you like to walk and enjoy nature it doesn't get much better. One caveat is that the trail is sometimes closed due to water over the pavement. Not to worry. Just take River Rd. for 1/10 mile and access trail on right. Worth it!"
"While the park isn't a lot to rave about, it's a great place to start a bike ride on the Betsy Valley bike trail. We parked at Penfold Park and rode our bikes along Crystal Lake, ending at Beulah for lunch then returned to Penfold Park. Great bike ride!"
