"A great park in great location for kids! Walking distance from all downtown businesses. 2 minute drive to the public beach on Lake MI."
"75+ yrs of drinking from this natural (yes, sorta' stinky) mineral spring & still love this unique water! From days of being held over the perpetual bubbling fountain, to now filling jugs for my travels, always a great experience. This park is immaculate, lush, beautiful, and has paved trails, fun climbing toys area, natural hillside amphitheater (summer concerts Fridays 7 pm) and vast areas of the softest grass ever for your bare feet, or picnic or relaxing with a good book. (Sheltered picnic areas are plentiful with tables, grills, etc.) The waterside walkway offers an up-close look at slips harboring grand yachts & sailing vessels. Next door is the city library & some very busy fishing boat launch ramps & acres of parking. A wonderful park of my childhood, only better thru the years!"
"Great place to bring the kids, as long as you keep a good eye on them and keep them away from the water. The pavilion is always clean, has picnic tables, the playground is big enough for the kids to run and play. There is a walking trail that goes through the park, there are a couple bench swings for public use, along with restrooms that do have running water."
"It is not a very friendly place to outsiders in our opinion. All the bathrooms had keypads or locks on them, so only certain people can access them. Even the so-called public restrooms were locked by 8 pm. The only nice person I came across was at the BP gas station. Again, just our experience here."
"Relaxing, fun little park. Easy parking. On bike trail. Docks easily accessible. Picnic area, public restroom, playground. Natural spring well is fun, a bit too irony for me though. Nice for walking or dogs."
