Mystery Valley

"Natural fissures in the ground. Not enough parking and no rest room. Nothing close by for "Facilities". Bring something to drink. Long hike down uneven terrain. Would be very cool to be at during a rain to see it drain away."

"The sink hole wasn't much of a sinkhole. The earth cracks there were pretty amazing though."

"There are no playgrounds, restrooms, or picnic areas, but once you walk back to the woods you have a beautiful walk, and amazing earth cracks! It goes without saying that you don't go in the earth cracks, but there are signs. There should be signs about not jamming long sticks in them as well because people can't seem to not do it. You should really see these, they are worth it!"

"Park to the left of the gate, get a brochure and walk down the path to the first marker. It was a very nice easy hike and the earth cracks were interesting. There was water in the lake so we couldn't finish the second pathway. We walked about 1.75 miles altogether."

"A nice hike that include some interesting local geology. Trails go through fields and forests and pass interesting crevices in the ground. At the bottom of the valley is a lake that may or may not be there. The lake fills in the springtime and then drains into a cave at the far end. If you go when the lake has drained out, you can walk along the lake bottom. Rather unusual!"
