"Did not camp here, was at Clear Lake, but we checked it out for future use and they are upgrading this campground right now. They have put in another outhouse on the south side of the camp and they are grading some of the sites and replacing the fire rings and picnic tables to be in line with those from the state park campgrounds. Sites were very big and some had great views of the lake. Again if you like to ORV this is a good place to camp."
"Quite place to camp. Great fishing. It feels like your far away from the world. One of my favorite campgrounds. DNR is pretty cool and informative."
"Very nice little campground on a lake. Can hear the highway but it's not too loud."
"No tent caterpillars a month after the above review. No roped off sites 5 months after the above review. I’m sure rangers would have put a stop to it. Signs clearly state no reserved spots. Pulled in at 10 pm on a Friday night and quite a few spots to chose from! Peaceful, other campers are respectful, nice fire pit, and many sites have view or access to the edge of the lake. Only thing I’d change is the noise from M-33. BUT....being right on M-33 is how and why we stopped here for a quick overnight. So I expected to hear cars drive by. I’d stay here again!"
"No one was camping when we were there. Love the quite. Went back to it and there was the site we stayed at was all roped off didn't think saving a lot was right so we will not go back. I always thought first come first serve no matter who you are."
