"Rip off. Avoid like the plague. Overpriced. Charged $428 for a rebuilt Detroit Diesel starter. Had same starter rebuilt a few years back by a different shop for $165. The "new rebuilt" starter from Ted's had pitting throughout the casing from corrosion. Told me his shop rebuilt starters. Instead he bought a rebuilt starter and marked up the price. Do not waste your time and money. Price gouger and scammer."
