"Beautiful and honorable memorial to fallen soldiers. Names are listed on granite stones organized by which war they paid the ultimate sacrifice in. Also nearby the commons so worth a visit while heading to the many amenities there."

"We stopped at this park for lunch. It was clean and had a pavilion for us to eat at. There were porta potties on the property and water fountains. There does appear to be a homeless camping area in the woods across the street. They came over to use the water and the restrooms, but weren't rude and didn't approach us. Great spot overall."

"It's a beautiful place. No bathroom which sucks if having a picnic. But as the evening closes in the homeless seem to gather here. There have been so many times where there are police just crawling all over the place. It seems dangerous. The homeless will hound you for your phone or ciggerettes."

"The park down by the river is beautiful. The Boardman river has never looked better. The monument up on the corner is invariably holding something, a Horizon Books bag, a rubber duckie, wearing a Santa hat"

"As a funeral director, I wasn't sure if this would be the best place for a memorial service, but it turned out to be the best place for the service and the honor guard. The canopy and picnic tables were also terrific for the lunch afterwards."
