"Great place to put in for kayaking into Bellaire Lake! From this point one can paddle south a few hundred yards and be at the mouth of the Grass River."
"Very nice Public Access to Beautiful Lake Bellaire."
"Newer marked access to Lake Bellaire very close to the headwater of the Grass River. There is a porta potty. The road into the park could use some maintenance. The parking area is grass and was soggy after heavy rains. The walk to waters edge was probably 150 ft so getting my 6 kayaks in the water for my younger grandchildren was a chore. Visited late June 2021. Very convenient access to the Grass River. Good signage off M88. Will be making a $$ to the organization."
"Stunning sunset On Lake Bellaire!"
"It's a cute hidden, very small park with 2 picnic tables (not close together and chained so they cannot be moved) and a charcoal grill. For a more intimate setting, it is perfect. A couple notes- if it has recently rained, plan on the ground being wet. Several puddles and our shoes were soaked anywhere we walked, this made it a bit swampy for a picnic. Also, the sun sets in direct light of this park. While this might sound like a positive, it was very blinding as it reflected off the water (even with sunglasses on). A mid day or morning trip would probably be better than late afternoon or evening. Port-a-potty was clean and we did have to pull our kids out of water for a snake. Also, lots of bugs (probably due to warm summer swamp conditions), so bring bug spray."
