"It wasn't as good, but it's palatable. The only thing that helps the pizza is the garlic butter sauce."
"The pizzas were good, the service was great, manager Derrick was really nice, the atmosphere was neutral since you can't eat in."
"Had a promo code for a free papadia. Ordered a large pizza and the papadia online...reviewed my order to confirm that the price for the pizza was correct and that I was not being charged for the papadia...all seemed good but when I arrived to pick up my food the young woman behind the counter said she only got the order for the pizza, not the papadia...I tried to show her the code from my email and she said it wouldn't do any good as the code had to be used online...so obviously I ordered online as required and had the code...I understand problems happen with technology but not the refusal to make good on the offer when I comply with the terms. I would say next time I'll screen shot before hitting confirm and pay but my policy as of late is to just not go back to places with poor customer service given how expensive eating out is so I got a refund for the pizza and took my money elsewhere. I wonder how many sales this place makes from people who just pay for their pizza anyway even though they didn't get the free item they were promised?"
"They are one of my favorite pizza places in this small town, and they offer decent-quality pizza. Yet, they never answer the phone when you call them, so we have to order the food online. In addition, to my surprise when I went in and got ready to pay for my food, I cannot pay as a credit. Every food place in this town can pay with credit, so I guess time for me to change my pizza place."
"Papa John's is one of my favorite chain pizza places. I used to work there as well as dominoes so I know the ingredients PJs used were better quality than Dominoes. I say that in past tense because that was over 10 years ago and I feel like the quality of their chicken poppers is dwindling. More and more of the poppers I order are becoming more bread than chicken. It's a shame, they used to be such big pieces of meat with a fine layer of breading. I'm lucky to get 15/30 with any meat, the other half is mostly breading. The pizzas are also becoming more and more crust, as can be shown in my pic. I ordered extra sauce and extra cheese as well and I'll let you be the judge if it came with that or not. The staff are always very nice and helpful about any special requests or concerning correcting a mistake. It's probably the employees fault, sometimes corporate enforces these changes that lower the quality. And things like the poppers are premade so the decline in quality there is obviously not their fault. Also, they recently stopped delivering to my house which is very close to their store, but they ALSO don't allow the local food delivery service to accept deliveries from them. I understand the conflict of interest with their own delivery drivers, but they could at least let the other service take the "out of range" deliveries. There are restaurants in the next town that are 30 mins away that will deliver to me, I don't understand why a pizza restaurant that is less than 5 miles away had to suddenly start excluding me. TO THE UPPER MANAGEMENT: if you're going to reduce your delivery area you should allow the other local delivery services to handle the orders that are outside of your range. I used to order 3 or more times a week, always tipping over 20%, now it's maybe 2x a month."
