"DeTour Village is where the Drummond Island ferry leaves from. DeTour has a population of 321 people. Yesterday we saw a sign for the DeTour Village Botanical Gardens. Today we went and checked it out. The garden is maintained by volunteers and contributions. Many of the gardens are memorials. Beautiful location, right on the St. Mary's River. It is a serene place. Proving that you don't need a lot of people to make the world a better place."
