"It was so peaceful to visit and easily accessible for anybody.. There are a few viewing decks where you can sit and enjoy the tranquility of the falling water."
"Very nice facilities and well kept park! The spots are fairly close together, so on a fully booked night it's not quite a secluded atmosphere. Well treed lots, each space comes with a fire pit and a picnic table. Our spot (166) the ground was very hard, as it seems most people camp here with a trailer, so make sure to bring a mallet to hammer in your pegs if you're pitching a tent. There is also a dispenser of wood bundles that takes bills and cards only, but also a person drives around a truck of bundles for cash (currently 6.00 a bundle). Dogs are welcomed and there seems to be a lot of them!"
"Was at 174. Was my first time camping and it was the perfect place for it! Our site was right by the primitive toilets and just a little ways from the showers and regular bathrooms. Showers are a little dated and there was some time with cold water but I didn’t mind it. Was clean and nice! Is close to the trail for the lower falls which is great! And only 3 miles from the upper falls. There is a trail that’s 4 miles to the upper falls but I didn’t try it this time. Have heard it’s a little harder then the other trails so will need to plan for that one next time!"
"Great place! Unique Root-beer Falls! Completely paved or boardwalk hiking area! Upper falls is a little more of a strenuous hike having 2 sets of steps down to the falls, but planting of viewing areas if unable to use steps! Wheelchair accessible! Lower falls is beautiful and easier to get around . Areas to get up and personal to falls. Swimming area further down fall area. There is a campground here, gift shops. Upper falls has a brewery, restaurant and a food truck! Cost for day pass is $11 good for any state park."
