"We cut our 10 day vacation to 5 days. The rv park seemed more like a "retirement community". Very quiet which is great but nothing for kids to do. No beach access, they have a dock but sign states no swimming. Luckily we found an amazing beach 20 minutes down the road that had hardly anyone there. Our 1½ year old was grumpy the whole time we where there and we felt like a disruption in the park. The guy I talked to and dealt with, I asked for a partial refund (at least my 150$ deposit) but we got nothing back. We spent almost 650 for the 5 days we were there. I felt misled."
"I stayed here with our friends, and attended the nearby Cedarville wooden boat show. Was also a great base to launch our kayaks to head out to the islands, such as Government island. Friendly campground owners too."
"Great location and quiet. You can walk into the village or the grocery store and hardware store with no problem. Friendly staff and full hook ups. Also a good place to base out of to see the locks or Drummond island. Some site I saw were quite close. We'd stay there again."
"What a friendly great park. Stayed for 12 days and didn't want to leave. It's on Huron Lake. Only half hour to Sault Ste. Marie and Mackinac City. Pet friendly. Laundry and bath houses are nice. Owners are wonderful. Will definitely be coming back here."
"Waterfront location with its own natural beauty and peacefulness. Park facilities are cheerful, simple, very clean. Nice grassy lots and a wonderful waterfront breeze. All the amenities I want. Just a few miles to a very good grocery and EZ Mart and interesting shops, plus the Maritime Museum and Great Lakes Ship Building School.Jon is a very positive caring owner. I will be back!"
