"Great little state forest campground. Me and my wife arrived around 4pm on a Friday to an empty campground and only one other camper came along. Bathrooms are vault toilets but well maintained. Sights were all flat and private. My only “complaint” was locals coming and filling water from the spring fed well. Everyone was quite and respectful besides one or two louder groups but we did choose a site right next to the well. All in all we’ll definitely come back to this one!"

"A beautiful little campground on the lake with an artisan well. There's a beach, picnic area, boat landing with a trail head for the Switchback ridge pathway. There are no campsites directly on the lake but some are very close and have a view of the lake."

"A self-service state forest campground, this offers nicely spaced sites on a dirt and gravel road. A boat ramp offers access to Little Brevort Lake. Boats may not have motors, so it is a quiet lake. Vault toilets and a spring, along with picnic tables and fire rings at the campsite, are the only amenities. Bring a check to leave the $15/night fee in the pipe at the entrance. The campground was clean and quiet on a Saturday night in late August."
