"Beautiful views of the sunset as the name implies. Clean, dog friendly with lots of benches and trees for great views."
"2 playground areas, volleyball court, basketball and tennis courts, beach, track/gravel walking loop. Pond on one side and lake on the other. Lots of trees. Lots of grassy area. A pavilion, restrooms (closed in winter), lots of picnic tables, swing benches, disc golf, boat launch, etc. And it's right in town. I go there all the time with the kids, sometimes with my dogs, occasionally by myself to relax under a tree by the pond. It's a big space with a lot of parking. There are turtles and frogs and fish in the pond. Often ducks and geese. Dragonflies and such, too. It's a nice area. We do birthday parties for the kids there. There are often other people doing celebrations of one kind or another, as well. And they also do different free events there, too."
"This is a cute little place to park, walk, and enjoy the view of the bay or stop for a picnic lunch. You'll get a view of the shipyard, too. They also have nice pickleball courts and bathrooms."
"Two parking areas. The north side is less crowded. Picnic tables, benches, pickle ball court, exercise stations, ample shade, grassy areas, playgrounds, bench swing, rocky coastline. There is a large swampy area teeming with wildlife. I saw toads, leopard frogs, great blue heron, pelicans, egrets, turtles, geese and ducks. Pleasant and peaceful place to take a stroll. Great views across the bay to Patawatomi State Park. Usually not crowded during the week. One of my favorite local parks."
