"Great guy! Bring cash tho. No cards"
"Rude guy, but has an awesome selection."
"Says there open until 5:00 but when I arrived at 1:30 they where closed which is very inconvenient when it’s a quite bit of a drive. On a Tuesday disappointing."
"Extremely nice guy, has lots of surplus I wasn't even expecting, told me that his only rule was not to move stuff around too much which I find very reasonable, also has a good amount of Cabela's pants if you need a quick pair. I certainly will be going back, he is an amazing guy."
"Some buddies and are preppers and play airsoft all the time for preparedness and hobbies and we like to go to surplus stores and buy stuff. Well our main place in Huntsville was closed so we found this place on Google. We called the place and the man said he would be open today (Saturday) so we load up and drive hour and 20 minutes from decatur and go there. Show up the sighn says "closed" I get out to go maybe see if he forgot about the sighn and he is sitting behind the counter watching TV. I asked if he is open and he said " no but im open if you will buy something".....then I replied with okay well I have some freinds with me that want to look also let me go tell them your open and he proceeded to tell me he doesn't want alot of people in his store because he doesn't want people stealing his stuff. Well after the rudeness I still gave him the benefit of the doubt and me and my friends looked and he literally followed us all around the store. Made everything super awkward and left with nothing because of that. Telling me he has been in business since 1972 and I don't see how. Much better places in north Alabama that don't call you a theif just for walking in his door and him telling us on the phone he is open. Would not recommend unless you want to be called a theif and get watched trying to buy stuff."
