"An exceptionally nice swimming area with crystal clear water. The lake bottom is sand and pebbles at the beach, no muck and almost no weeds even as you get out further from shore. A large mowed area adjacent to the beach includes several picnic tables. The property also has vault toilets, a boat landing and boat wash station. The drinking water spout in the picnic area never seems to work, even during the midsummer peak usage season when numerous families picnic and swim here. Unlike many national forest recreation areas, no fee is required to use this property."
"Great beach with a picnic area and a boat landing. The clear water and sandy bottom was perfect for swimming up until early fall season. Not crowded at all when the fall colors were at their peak."
