"This is one of my favorite areas in Houghton. There is a skatepark for kids to scooter, bike, blade, or skateboard. There is a large grass area surrounded by a boardwalk next to the canal. There is also a pavilion with bathrooms and shaded picnic tables. Showers are available for a small payment. The waterfront bike/walk path passes through this park and there is a perfect view of Mont Ripley."
"The view from here is awesome, and it's always so sunny and the temperature is perfect. I don't have them pictured here, but the facilities such as the skate park and the sitting area/restrooms are super nice as well. Perfect spot for a picnic, frisbee, or whatever else with a sweet view."
