"Ray did a superb job for us today. He not only fixed my problem with our dryer, but showed me some little extra steps to make things easier for me. He is great!"
"Joshua was very friendly and on time. However, he did not fix the problem and created another problem for which I need repair to come out again"
"Cass is an excellent technician. He repaired my mower and it is working fine now. I do have some issues with Sears Home Repair. All three of the parts that were needed to repair my tractor were not in stock at Sears Home repair and had to be ordered from Husqvarna (who made the tractor). This was a Craftsman (brand) Lawn Tractor. How is it that Sears does not even stock the parts to repair its own brand equipment? It took about two months to get my tractor repaired because the parts were not stocked and had to be ordered from Husqvarna. Even then, one of the belts was a generic, not a Husqvarna OEM part. If the parts had been stocked, it would have taken just one day to repair it. I could have had my mower repaired at a local repair shop in a few days and had it back. Granted, that they would have used generic belts, but that probably would have served me well for several more years. I seriously doubt that I will ever use Sears Home Services for any future repairs of Craftsman or Kenmore brand equipment. While your technician was excellent, your company stinks!"
"I sought out Sears Appliance Repair to fix our Maytag stove. It was whirlwind to get a repair person to come out and fix the stove. October 24, the first repair person came out to diagnose the issue. That person ordered the part and we scheduled the repair for November 2. On November 2, I waited the entire day and nobody came. The window given was 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and despite it being close to 4 p.m., I was given a 5:53 to 7:30 p.m. arrival time. Needless to say, nobody arrived and nobody called despite being told the contrary. When I called the customer service number, the could only reschedule another date. Nobody would acknowledge that the repair person didn't come or call. When I asked what I would get for the inconvenience, I got crickets. The rep acted like they didn't understand my request and by the third person, they even revised the story and stated that I didn't have a previous appointment! Seriously? I have screenshots, text messages, and emails of my appointment! I ended up communicating with Sears via FB messages and they tried the same thing! There was a script that they refused to stray from and they were wholly befuddled at how to resolve an issue created on their end. Critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills are not present in the representatives. I will never use the company again."
"Derek was the technician that serviced our dryer and was very professional and helpful by fully communicating the issue. He also provided a good tip for my family to maintain our washer cleanliness. The arrival window Sears provided was 8a to 5p, but I appreciate the technician arriving earlier."
