"This was by far the BEST experience I ever had with a contracting service. Did they do everything perfect - no. But they did OWN up to it! Without me having to turn into a Karen or begging and pleading. They made a mistake, readily admitted it, and we found a solution that made both parties happy. For that reason alone - the fact that they admitted their mistake and were NICE about it, means I will go nowhere else for concrete work. Jason was our lead guy and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Melissa was our office coordinator and facilitated all of the scheduling, answering of questions, communication after the error was found. Truly a seamless team. Everyone who worked on our project was nice, respectful, friendly, and down right professional. Here is our full story: We scheduled our hot tub pad and walkway to be put in mid August. We went and picked out our stamp and color prior to the demolition and pour as instructed. We had to wait a week from dig out until pour but that was fine. On the day they came to pour they had everything ready and were about to stamp. I was looking at the progress and noticed that the stamp didn’t look quite right. I asked if it was “random fieldstone”. Jason quickly looked at my style order and what he actually received from the vendor. He accidentally ordered “random flagstone”. Easy mistake but due to the timing one that could not be fixed prior to them stamping. They proceeded to stamp the concrete which looks amazing but - and I was instantly put into contact with Melissa to determine how we would proceed with the project. I was unhappy because it was not the stamp we chose but I understood it was an honest mistake. Melissa was wonderful. She listened to my concerns and talked to me about the different options. One of them being a complete tear our and redo! They were so great about the whole thing. We ended up keeping the concrete that was mistakenly stamped, and Kent Home Services gave us a good discount for their mistake. All in all we saved them $$$ by not having them redo work that was already done and they compensated us as well. The communication was amazing, the professionalism was amazing. If you need concrete please use these guys!"
