"I had a water heater installed and was satisfied with the price and installation but when the inspector arrived to check out my new furnace he informed me that the water heater was installed WITHOUT a permit. He also said that my insurance wouldn't have to fully cover any damage involving the water heater if a permit hadn't been taken out. I had to pay 80 bucks for the permit. Not being told by Duff that I needed a permit and that he hadn't taken one out was very unprofessional and could have cost me significantly.I strongly suggest if you've had work done with this company that you check that a permit was taken out if one was required. It could save you from future insurance problems if something bad happens."
