"Employees are only friendly to certain people and not so much to others. We were completely ignored the entire time we were there, and when I approached someone for help, she seemed bothered by my request for assistance. The same girl ended up ringing up our order, and when I gave my number to look up my account, she blankly told me it expired and didn't offer any opportunity to ask about renewal because I wasn't a teacher or student. I seem to have better luck at Michael's, and that's saying a lot..."

"BEAR!!! Ok, let me explain. I shop at Blick A TON! Online and in both the Schaumburg IL and Wheaton IL stores in person. I love their stuff and their staff! Back when they changed out their computer system a couple years ago my account got all screwed up. First deleted and unfindable. Then it was back but now I had two. NO ONE could figure out how to get rid of the 2nd acct. NO ONE. The system wouldn’t allow me to remove it because I couldn’t even see it. The stores couldn’t, I called management - nope. So every time I go to shop I had to explain, 2 accts, nope can’t fix it, please use the teachers account, and then they would need to search around and verify the correct one before checking me out. Huge pain in the butt, though I had become resigned to the retelling of my tale because there just wasn’t any choice. Then I went a couple days ago to the Wheaton store, and told my same tale to the Bear, who was manning the register, and guess what. HE was able to delete the second account! Finally! Somebody made it happen! He made my day. So Thank You Bear! Friendly, courteous, helpful AND a computer whiz! Best Blick experience since they changed their computer system!"

"Seriously I can get lost in this store picking up every item and imagining what my creativity can do with it. I love seeing the newest items and searching for inspiration in all the aisles. Friendly and helpful staff. Sometimes I don’t know what I want until I see it. It’s my candy store."

"They didn't have near as many products as the other store also didn't have the same deals. I didn't like they didn't know what they had in stock or even know what products they were selling in store. I think I'll stick to ordering my copic sketch markers online, and if I need any other supplies, I'll get them at Hobby Lobby."
