"Mobile Marine has performed expert service on my 1999 Tige 21' Inboard over the past 8 years. We are from Kalamazoo, but use the boat for 2 weeks each summer on Lake Charlevoix. As would be expected from a 23 year old boat, things break down, and it needs service. I drop off the boat, and Brian and the team at Mobile Marine have been able to fit us in. They have saved the boating part of our vacation quite a few times. At this point, I consider them our mechanic for the boat -Water pump & Starter approx. 2016 -New V-Drive (shipped in from east coast) approx. 2018 (maybe my fault for not monitoring fluids properly) -New Steering Cable and Fluids Service in 2020 -Fluid change-outs, plugs, and Engine Additive (fixed knocking sound) in 2022. This past trip, we noticed engine knocking on a Thursday evening. Immediately Friday am, I brought to Mobile Marine. They were thankfully able to do a tune-up that day, and got us back on the water for that weekend. I would highly recommend."

"“ Dangerous Workmanship “ Any boats serviced or for sale at this facility should be considered very questionable “safety is not part of their detail “ . ( Big problem .) ( I purchased a boat from Mobile Marine that almost caught fire ) Endangered my 15 year old and my 13 year old Along with 2 adults . After Mobile Marine had serviced this boat and did an inspection and put it up for sale . The port side hydraulic line was meted on to the exhaust and leaked all the fluid out on to the motor . ( Real mes ) After further inspection I also found the ventilation hose melted on to the other exhaust outlet along with 2 spark plug wires that were chard on the side do to also rubbing on the exhaust manifold. I purchased this Crown Line boat from this location 4/22 . When I spoke with Duane at mobile marine he mentioned the boat had been gone over and guaranteed me it was all ok . He mentioned the boat was running fine . He mentioned it was recently serviced and all check out , I took his word for it . Big mistake !! I drove 14 HRS round trip because I thought I was buying a quality maintained boat . I put the boat in the water for a ride and within 1/2 hr I noticed a oil burning smell and smoke coming out from the engine compartment . This boat could have started on fire with all the leveling trim oil all over the engine . Lucky I picked up on the oil smell and returned immediately . Mobile Marine technician that worked on this boat should have known this and did not disclose this oil leak problem along with all the other issues . This boat should have never been put up for sale by Mobile Marine in this condition . Very misleading sales ethics. Included is a picture of the leveling trim line melted in two onto the exhaust manifold. Mr . Duane you put my family in danger with your misleading sales lies ."
