Samantha helped ring out the exchanges at the register and exchange an item on the floor while Mary checked in the back stock to look for one of my items. They ended up finding the same jeans, color and style, just in the size I requested. Great helpful staff! Aside from myself they kept helping others in checkout and the store is always organized and clean. They deserve recognition and appreciation!"

"After many years of shopping at the Gap Factory I've run into my first disappointment. I received an email from the Gap Factory stating that they were conducting "open interviews" from 10am-2pm on Saturday October 5th. So, naturally I was thrilled about this opportunity so I invited my mother to attend with me since we are both looking for fun holiday work (jobs)! Anyway we get there only to learn that they weren't actually conducting interviews. We were told by the manager, who shall remain nameless, that they were only collecting the names of applicants and would follow up with interviews next week and that we need to apply first. Now, don't get me wrong I understand the protocol for obtaining a job, I've had my fair share of gainful employment. However, the email clearly states that they were conducting open interviews on Saturday, October 5th from 10am-2pm, which is precisely the reason I came into the store today. Otherwise, I would have never driven from the south side of Chicago just to be told to apply online and sign a sheet of paper, and wait to be contacted a week later. Frankly, I could have stayed at home and had this experience from the comfort of my bed and laptop. So, for future reference when conducting an open interview campaign do exactly that, conduct interviews. Here's a little suggestion: Include a link in the email invite to apply and clearly state that the application needs to be complete in order to qualify for the "open interview". Also, set up a station to encourage those applicants who have not yet applied to do so, that way they can complete the interview during the allotted time. Furthermore, I will forward this exact commentary to corporate and if/when they respond I will be sure to share it here as well. Thank you."

"The place is organized and at the time of this visit they had a sale. Looked for some clothes for a gift and they were easy to find. Was not offered any help, did get what I wanted and as for the checkout, it was fast. In Chicago either you pay 7 cents for a bag or bring your own bag. just so you know. They do offer good prices and will come back."
