"50% of equipment out of order. Repair takes 3+ months. Dirty and filthy gym. I like simple gyms but this is next level. No paper towels anymore. Service is not worth mentioning… if it wasn’t the closest gym in my area I wouldn’t come here. Thought LA fitness stands for quality… just as an example: those two machines are out of order.. „check system“ there is more but don’t wanna run around and take pics"

"The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming! Non-judgmental employees at a gym are always something that shouldn't be taken lightly! They have a sauna and jacuzzi top with a clean pool! It does get pretty busy around 6-9 am and 4:00 to 7:00 pm. That a test to why this is a great choice for a gym"

"Extremely disappointing gym. Being a signature club I expected it to at least be presentable. Unfortunately, as soon as you walk in you get this weird vibe, it made me feel depressed to be honest. The lighting needs to be brighter, it ruins the mood. Too many machines are broken with out of order signs on them. The free weight area is super cluttered, and the benches are outdated. The free weight area is even darker than the rest of the gym. The machines are also outdated. The worst part of the gym is honestly the locker room. It was super dark and crowded, there’s too many lockers and not enough seating, I had to take my stuff out the locker and pack at the sink area because there was no room next to the lockers, it also smelled dirty and neglected in there. Normally I wouldn’t complain if it was a regular gym, but this is a signature club and you are charging customers more than a regular membership. Don’t waste your money, find another gym."

"I have reservations about recommending this gym based on my experience with their sales approach. During the sign-up process, the initial quoted price of $X was later increased by several additional fees that were not disclosed upfront. This approach to pricing may not suit everyone's expectations."

"I’ve been a member at the Royal Oak location for more than 6 years now and it has continued to decline over the past few years. The equipment is in terrible shape, to the point some treadmills have wires hanging out, pieces falling off bikes and ellipticals, and only about two stairmasters every work. For being a signature club, I am very disappointed. I will be attaching some photos I took of the machines in my review for others to see. I will also stay, the ONLY reason this review received 2-stars, is because the employees who come in and greet myself and other members so very sweet at 5 am when I am there."
