"Just started a month ago, so far so good. If u can work hard without oversight you will like it. If u are inept and lazy u will prob hate it. Update: After a year of working there I can say I see why they had a hard time holding on to people. They have me doing all janitorial, mowing, and painting of all athletic fields. One person, 52 acres. Weed whipping, zero turn hilly nightmare, paint machine is ok, equipment breaks once a week. Only reason I didn’t quit is because I’m tough as nails. For real. The company went under (retiring) and I was hired in by the public school system. The vp of D and L was Sherry. She cussed me out because I told her her the company’s equipment was falling apart. She is unprofessional and I hope she enjoys her retirement. D and L took advantage of people, they were a glorified temp service who took 3-4 dollars off the top, I make much more now. Good riddance to bad managers and owners."

"This people are ridiculous. They make you pay for worn shorts which is ridiculous it’s giving broke. They are unorganized and the boss will try to talk to you like you’re lesser to them or something. They’re nasty and rude and that’s why people constantly quit D&L. In a couple of years they will be out of business. Oh and they’re miserable and did I mention racist?"

"I was the Human Resources Manager for this company a couple years ago. The owner (Sherri) is EXTREMELY ABUSIVE. She repeatedly made several office staff cry with her screaming and unrealistic expectations. Unless you are glutton for punishment, JUST DON’T."

"The custodial staff was extremely helpful to us when my child left the instrument in the school. We called the office and spoke with the HR manager Melinda and she contacted the custodial staff to locate our daughters violin that was left at the service desk. Melinda asked if we would like to pick up the instrument or store it in the school. We asked if it could be locked in the school. About 10 minutes later Melinda called us back stated the violin was found and would be stored in the office with a note for the school staff. She was an amazing help along with the custodians."

"This company is the owner/operators of automatic Clean Getaway Car Wash on Drake Rd. After the car wash malfunctioned, I called for another code to redeem for a BASIC wash. Stephanie from D & L accused me of lying and trying to steal a free basic car wash! She refused to let me speak to another employee and was very offensive."
