Maytag Laundry

"Nobody in store. Half the Machines are out of order as well as change machines. Snack machines are empty, soda, on soap available. Is this place abandoned?"

"I didn’t want to believe the reviews - but definitely do… They have some washers/dryers that worked and I came at 6 AM so there were no issues finding ones to use. I don’t think the washers/dryers have been cleaned/sanitized ever. There are several washers/dryers that have laundry in them that have to have been from yesterday (they open at 6 AM and again, I just got here). The place is very run down; the outside is overgrown; there’s no place to sit outside and only about 10 chairs inside; the bathroom is dirty (I don’t think the sink has been cleaned in a while, nor the toilet); and all of the small dryers are out of service. The hours of operation are noted as 6AM to 9PM with a request to run your last load by 8PM. A sign is posted limiting parking to 2 HRs. No pets are allowed. Being the only one in the area, you’d think they’d make enough $ for upkeep, even during the slower season? Next time, I’m going to try the one in Sister Bay - I would HIGHLY recommend you skip this one."

"Clean laundry mat, the coin machine works, the laundry dispenser works, many of the units were down but this being said their was 6 people inside and we still had plenty of machines open with us using each Mutiple units. Overall clean facility just would be nice to have less units marked out of order."

"The good news is that this is probably the better coin laundry in Sturgeon Bay. But that’s not saying much. About half of the machines were broken, one of the three washer ssounded like it was going to shake the room apart during the spin cycle. And then one of the drivers refused to stop until I slammed the door with all my might. Yeah I think my three loads of laundry got clean. But Not coming back to this place."

"The attendant was helpful & friendy, sadly the establishment had seen better day. I think quite possibly there isn't enough business to warrant major upgrades to the machines. None the less the ones that were working did the job as well as machines with all the whistles, bells & flashing lights."
