"Deplorable living conditions considering that this is a senior building. I feel that it makes no sense to seniors are required to pay rent but often don’t have water or heat. My mother currently doesn’t have hot water or heat and the water pressure just came back. this is Michigan and it’s below 30° at night. How is the facility running like this and expecting people to pay their rent on time but yet they don’t have the simple amenities that’s in their lease like heat and hot water. I can’t wait to move her from this place. They don’t care about their residence and they don’t have to live in these constraints so it’s no problem to them but then they won’t residents to hide and be quiet when they book lavish events and get all this money for weddings, banquets and baby showers but they can’t keep the heat on ."
"Very nice for weddings, baby showers, receptions.."
"The last thing you’d want to worry about when planning a wedding is for the venue to cancel tour wedding. Due to the Covid Pandemic weddings have been cancelled and customers are being forced to reschedule by May 1, 2021 or forfeit the money. How are we to know when we can reschedule safely. Is it not already a traumatic experience of having your wedding cancelled then being forced to reschedule for uncertain future date? The customers should be refunded fully. The customer service and empathy from this place is disgusting. I do not recommend booking this venue."
"This is a neat venue and we attended the EcoWorks annual breakfast - it was their ten year anniversary and Reverend Mariama White-Hammond was the keynote speaker. The room is bright with a white ceiling and chandeliers, there are really cool columns, arches and a fountain on the far wall. There is street parking and parking lot parking near by, and across the street is the lovely Erma Henderson Park. If you go out the front door of the venue, there’s a great view of the Detroit River and Canada across the strait. Enjoy your visit!"
