"Love this place. At $12 per adult, it's definitely worth going. Beautiful inside and out with so much interesting history and facts. Been there twice, will be there again."
"Our guide was great! Worth the stop and small fee. So much to see, such a beautiful house."
"We had my daughter's bridal shower at Fairlawn. Working with Brittany was wonderful. Hannah & Nolan were the most amazing hosts. They included a tour of this beautiful home. All of my guests were raving about how this was the best bridal shower ever, all due to the gorgeous Fairlawn and employees."
"BEAUTIFUL! The tour is fantastic, the place is well preserved, restored, and filled with antiques. I went with my children, 11 and 13 yrs old, and both of them enjoyed the tour. Our guide was a very sweet and knowledgeable young man. We learned a lot. It was also affordable and worth the price. We paid $12 per adult and $6 per kid. Highly recommend it if you like historic houses like I do."
"Beautiful Victorian mansion, overlooking the lake on a big lawn that is beautifully manicured! The mansion was the home of the three time mayor of Superior and lumber and ore magnate, Robert Pattison and his family until 1918, then becoming a children's home till 1962, that even Babe Ruth visited at one time. The mansion was completed in 1891 at a cost today of $3 million dollars. It has been a tourist attraction since the 1990s. A truly magnificent mansion and worth a visit."
