"A historical place but no structure or ruin visible."
"It was a nice walk. The info marker was beat up. There's parts you can't read from the cracking. It smelled so pretty out there. Went on May 20th so the flowers and everything just covered the place in sweet smells. It's very pretty out there. The only thing from the buildings are the cement slabs and they are becoming one with nature."
"We used to visit this site back in the early '70s when camping at campgrounds nearby. I broke my clavicle there horsing around with some other guys. Mom brought home a cactus plant from there and planted it in the yard - which we rued for years. I didn't know cacti could grow in Michigan."
"This was such a fun little adventure with so much history attached, as long as you go far enough, at the start you can find a spaller area, but if you go further into the woods the are quite a few buildings"
"Great spot to go see a little bit of history. Even though there are no buildings still standing there is still a lot of remnants of what used to be there. Aside from the WW2 stuff, it's a great place to get out and walk around / get some fresh air and check out wildlife."
