"This is such a beautiful, historic cemetery. I love coming here and walking among the grave stones to look at all of the 19th century grave stones. Some of the stones have fallen due to aging but they are still so wonderful to look at and think of the time when those people where still here."

"Of the many cemeteries I have visited in Muskegon County, this cemetery is my favorite. There is so much history here in Evergreen, and every time I visit, I am greeted by my favorite monuments as well as ones I haven't seen before. I especially love the City of the Dead historic tour in October."
