"A must-stop location if you are passing through or near Grayling. The depot museum is impressive and I was particularly surprised by all the materials on the second floor. There is also a nice veterans museum on the complex."

"The railroad was the most important part of central northern Michigan. This museum conveys very well the role that early Michiganders using the railroad and working in this states remote wilderness area. The displays are well done upstairs and down. This museum should be an important required Michigan history stop. The museum volunteers were knowledgeable and took time to explain displays. Admission was by donation but rivals other museums costing $15-$20 admission fees."
