"Very helpful staff! The campus tour is well worth it!"
"The Eck Visitor's Center is a great place to start your visit to the University of Notre Dame. The center is located on Notre Dame Avenue, just a short walk from the Main Building and the Golden Dome. The center has a variety of exhibits and displays that tell the story of Notre Dame, from its founding in 1842 to its present day. There is also a theater that shows a short film about the university. The staff at the center are friendly and knowledgeable, and they are happy to answer any questions you have about Notre Dame. They can also help you plan your visit, whether you are interested in taking a tour of the campus, visiting the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, or attending a football game. Here are some of the things I liked about the Eck Visitor's Center: * The exhibits are well-designed and informative. * The staff are friendly and helpful. * The center is conveniently located on campus. * There is a variety of things to see and do, even if you are not a Notre Dame fan. Overall, I highly recommend the Eck Visitor's Center to anyone who is visiting the University of Notre Dame. It is a great place to learn about the university's history and traditions, and it is a great starting point for your visit to campus. Here are some additional tips for your visit to the Eck Visitor's Center: * Allow at least 1 hour to visit the center. * If you are interested in taking a tour of the campus, be sure to book your tour in advance. * The center is open from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. * Admission is free. I hope you have a great time visiting the Eck Visitor's Center and the University of Notre Dame! And don't forget to stop by the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore and load up on blue and gold swag..."
"Notre Dame's book store and gift shop. An amazing assortment of ND logo stuff. Pretty high end, it includes a $10k football helmet encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Seriously."
"I was in the greatest store I've ever been in. Never seen so much Notre Dame stuff in one place. Not bad pricing either. If it isn't in this store, they don't make it. . #1Irishfan."
"WOW! What a fun experience. The visitors center and bookstore here at University of Notre Dame was top notch. Very big, tons of souvenirs and practical stuff, friendly staff. Got all our swag to support the “fighting Irish”, even if we’re not Irish, Catholic, nor have gone to ND. Lol! The visitors center was super as well. With tours on the hour, they hosted us freely and with a smile. Our tour guide was finishing freshman year, totally overjoyed to share with us how great the university is, matched with historical and current day stories. The visitors center is beautiful with minimal information, but enough to give you some reading and see a few items of tradition and value. If you’re in the South Bend, Indiana area, you really need to take the time to do the tour here."
