"Stayed in Duxbury (Northwoods Property Management handles this property). Very clean, comfortable and we'll situated. Close to town and on Lake Minocqua. Has a boat slip and sleeps up to 8 people. Beds are fantastic and new! Booked online thru VRBO. Seamless check in. Will stay here in Duxbury again! Probably will be back for snow machine season."

"People need to be aware that the owner is a drunk racist who demeans woman. He is extremely unprofessional, and has a disrespectful attitude towards women and has a huge lack of self control with anger, he will scream in your face and not let you speak to him and will get in your personal space. I would not stay at this resort as you get treated very poorly. He believes his property is the best piece of property around and to be honest it's quite junky as there was junk piled up around the property and you have to tread lightly around him and his property even if you are quiet and keep to yourself, and not to mention paying to stay there. Minocqua is a very beautiful place and some of the cabins are great but having to be treated so poorly by an owner of a resort you are paying to stay at is not worth anything. Please be carufel. I am not one to leave bad reviews ever but this incident was down right awful and unnecessary. Good luck to you all."
