"this store was only good for the worker I knew there that made the experience good for the people that frequently visited and took good care of everyone for two years. It really made me angry when I found out that with all of the good work he did, he received a raise 9 months in and then they turned around and took away his commission behind his back even though he is there top salesman. This company does not care about the customers or employees, do yourself a favor and don't support 'em, support a different company."

"If I could leave a zero star I would. While working here for 2 years and being the public face seen most behind the counter of the Southgate shop, recently I was told that I would need to stop selling only the products that are the best in quality and lower in price due to the management not wanting to raise prices of good items while lowering the prices of the items either not doing well or not selling at all due to customer satisfaction on those items being low quality. I have been told to give discounts only at the authority of the one manager who repeatedly has been unreliable in responding and showing up on time. I have a Son and a wife who are now going to need to struggle to get by until we get new jobs. I was written up for 3 things which were indisputable and I was unable to reject the write up or they would send me home day after day. They cut my commission after I got a “promotion” from cashier to key and a “raise” from 11.00 an hour plus 2% commission on all sales to 12.00 an hour without commission however I was only told about the dollar hourly increase for becoming a key holder. I was given this raise and promotion within 9 months of me working at the shop for “working hard and being responsible” which was their way of making the employees more comfortable with their jobs. The employees at the Southgate shop are currently only the managers who neglect to listen to employee complaints, ignore customer issues with products and blame workers for the issues at the shop which they are not responsible for fixing. I was not given the permission to do the necessary work to maintain the shops upkeep and was unable to do the job to the best of my ability because of the management I was under. Here are some photos of issues around the shop that have gone un-noticed or unaddressed such as empty shelves and backwards products left messy for months on the intention of getting managements attention. On the day of Black Friday 2023, I was supposed to be at the Southgate shop however I was sent to Roseville to cover for someone even though I could have walked to work instead just so one manager could get the attention of the owners for working there all day by himself. Even though he did this in an attempt to make himself look good he neglected to look at the items he was trying to sell otherwise he would have seen that I turned around facings of different items in the store as a test to see if anyone else would contribute to the upkeep of the shop. Sadly no help was received from Anyone else at the shop I told the new Hire last week spotted it his first day."
