"Hiding behind the name and reviews of Attorney Pater's practice, Jason VanElderen shockingly embarrasses the law profession. Jason thwarts all mediation efforts so that he can maximize his hours billed and his profits. Jason convinced my ex that my fair and generous settlement offer was unsatisfactory. Instead, he pitted us against each other and left my ex with FAR less than what I offered at the beginning. Attorney Jason attends mediations wearing basketball shorts. He also attends Settlement conferences with the Judge from his car while driving to see other clients. Utterly unprepared and unprofessional, I would not recommend this attorney to my worst enemy. He made it through law school- but must have skipped ethics class. Jason should have stuck to used car sales. If he did, my kids would have much more money in their college funds."
