"Charged me for insurance that I didn't ask for and didn't need. They tried to be sly about it by asking me what the value was of what I was shipping and then just tacked on $500 worth of insurance. Is this common UPS STORE practice? I have never had this kind of trouble at the store on Michigan Ave or Ford Rd! You can't just charge people that much and ONLY give a refund when you DEMAND for YOUR OWN money back! I don't think I will be doing anymore shipping with UPS or at the very least with this store!"

AVOID. *EDIT - in response to "the owner's" canned response - if you truly "understood the importance of reliable systems and efficient service" or truly felt customer service was a "top priority", then you wouldn't have repeat 1-star reviews from people pointing out your unreliable systems and service. Come back when you know how to manage a business properly. The store in Canton on Ford Road can give you some tips - maybe reach out to their owners."
