Walmart Pharmacy 995 Razorback Drive, Houghton, MI 49931

"After many failed attempts at other local pharmacies, I gave Walmart a try. I had avoided it due to the lines that are usually pouring out. However, I was at my wits end when all other pharmacies would not work with my insurance (even though my insurance is supposed to cover my prescription, or at least most of it.) I stopped in as a last ditch effort. Kara was helping me and ended up typing something magical into her computer and got my out of pocket cost from $140 down to $5. I'm not sure what she did, but she took the time to figure everything out she could. No other local pharmacy has taken that time with me. This is a prescription that's medically necessary and I'm so grateful I will no longer be needing to pay for it out of pocket. Thank you, Kara!!!"

"Hands down the most RUDE people in customer service. I been dealing with snappy, uneducated and rude comments from the same 2-3 for several years. Today was the last time I will use this pharmacy. I have had more education by the time I was 22 years old than these folks put together, and I refuse to verbally battered over every detail anymore. The older lady with long grey hair not only should not be in customer service but should not be in public in general! Absolutely lost my household and our long lost of medication (about $2k mo) Thankfully Amazon can deliver our RX’s to my door cheaper anyway."

"Customer service is incredibly rude. If I could just rate the actual pharmacists, they'd get 5 stars, but the guy working the desk today at 1:20pm was dismissive and kept cutting me off, then didn't bother to let the pharmacist know he'd sent me to the next window over to have my insurance updated when he finally let me tell him that's what I needed. Instead he let the pharmacist know about the person who came after me who needed their script looked over. The pharmacist finally came over to the window and would've given me the other persons meds if I hadn't said anything, not realizing the absolute lack of communication from the guy working the register. No one who saw me standing there waiting even acknowledged me or checked in to make sure the pharmacist knew I was there. I understand you guys go to lunch at 1:30, but that's absolutely no excuse to immediately be short with someone, constantly interrupt them when they're trying to tell you their situation, and then move you on to another window without any communication to the appropriate parties."

"Not our home town Wally world...but had to get prescriptions filled here....Tammy (the P.A.) was very helpful, both over the phone & in person. Jackie, the pharmacist went beyond her expected duties to get us the best possible savings. Awesome YOOPER service & people!"

"If I can't receive prompt, accurate service, I at least expect polite, professional service and unfortunately this pharmacy provides neither. Over 24 hours after my prescription refill was ordered through their automated system it still wasn't filled. When I politely inquired why, I got a rude remark thrown in my face about being short staffed. In a bigger city I'd go to another pharmacy instantly but unfortunately there are few options here, so I'm forced to continue giving my business to this incompetent, unprofessional provider. Hopefully management will work with their staff to rectify these issues."
