"Just one of my biggest bones to pick with stores, is when you over price your beer. I'm glad that this place has a good selection, it really does, but there's nothing worse than getting to the register, and a beer that you can get anywhere else is blocked a dollar more. Or a six pack that you can get anywhere else for $9.99 or $10.99 is $12.99 here. And then, don't gaslight me and say it's because you're in midtown, or downtown Detroit, when there's stores like Marcus Market closer to the center of Midtown than you are that charge appropriate beer prices. They're not charging me $4 for a $3 can of beer or two or three dollars extra on a 6 pack And look, many people won't say something like that. You'll wonder why your beer is sitting there even though you have a good selection, and why it's not flying off the shelves. The answer is you're charging more money than the other stores and you think people don't know but they do, so they'll just go to the other stores like I will. I like to explore which is why I came in here, I wanted to see what the store had to offer and now I know. I've been here one time and that will be the last time. If I get news that the beer prices here have gone into normal and stead of the price hike, maybe I'll check it out again, but until then there's other stores close by that have reasonable beer prices."

"I thoroughly enjoy this liquor store. It’s owned by a nice family that contributes to the surrounding neighborhood. They have a great wine selection, I am in there often and I see different imports and domestics that I love trying as well as getting my favorites. Need something? Request it! They’re super helpful and their selection is unbeatable. Even if you’re not a connoisseur, they have the usual and favorites for partying and quick stops."
