"After the devastating loss of my father a few days ago, my family got prior permission to enter the residence my relative was temporarily residing in after his passing to retrieve a few items of clothing for a decent and honorable burial, my family received confirmation with a designated time to go into the residence at 4pm with the on-site property manager. The landlord had given her permission and put his widow in touch with the on-site manager and the appointment time was confirmed a day prior and the roommate who also resides in the residence claimed he was in agreement as well. After waiting over an hour and a half after the appointment time, the on-site manager never showed, though attempts to contact him were made and 3 different people, myself included as well as the police who were to provide escort into the residence were able to speak with the on-site manager who advised he was ‘30 minutes out’ and later advised he did not have the key, and after several lies were told finally advised police he was told not to allow anyone to enter the residence by the roommate. He also advised the police that he would provide entry if he received notice from the roommate (which means the on-site manager did indeed have a key to the residence). After contacting and speaking to the roommate, who denied advising not to allow entry but rather blamed the landlord (who had given prior permission and provided us with the name of the on-site manager) the roommate was advised all that needed to be done was a phone call to the police to give his verbal consent to go into the residence. A text message was even requested. Neither was sent and the roommate claimed he could not reach the police department after two claimed attempts to contact them. I myself contacted the department and was immediately able to get through to speak with someone. To be in a position where you are grieving the loss of a loved one and to be given the run-around and the level of deceit these people have put my family through not to be able to even bury my loved one in their own clothing is an absolute betrayal to basic human dignity. The entire entry would have been recorded and nothing was to be removed besides a couple of suits and documents to facilitate a military burial and these people did not care."
"I lived there and NONE OF EMPLOYEES INCLUDING BROWN ARE DECENT PEOPLE! They took my security deposit charge me for them raggedy blinds that were worn before me the refrigerator had dents in it before me and the bathroom floor was falling apart. My refrigerator leaked water (if you stay where the building where the manager office is on the 2nd floor in apartment 5 you know what I’m talking about) Luke is not a good person to have in management at all he does not know how to talk to people and thought I was one of his kids. I would not recommend this place to anyone even the person who works in their office was rude and disrespectful. If your missing a catalytic converter one of their staff is stealing them. Its only one person that stays in that complex long enough to watch everyone and thats Brown"
"The owners are pretty much slumlords. My first apartment ever. Moved in over a year ago and they still havent fixed a single thing in the apartment that I had notified them of when i moved in. Havent even TRIED to contact me about it either, but they made sure to slip a note under everyones door saying rent is going up 25 dollars in a month. The apartments arent bad, the hallways do smell weird, but the apartment manager Brown is a good guy. All in all, I dont recommend moving here. DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO! Trust me, not worth the headache."
