The Enclave Apartments

"Update Feb. 2024- I’ve now lived at The Enclave 7+ years and feel much the same as I stated previously. Maintenance staff are very responsive; office staff is friendly and helpful. Neighbors are great. It’s a safe and quiet place to live. Easy access to the Macomb rail trails and a short drive to Stony Creek Metropark. Lots of shopping options, medical, dental, and banks within a 2 mile radius. There really is no downside to living at The Enclave. Posted 2018 ….. I’ve lived at The Enclave for 1 1/2 years and I love it. The ranch style apartments are charming and quiet. Having an attached garage is wonderful, especially during bad weather. The office and maintenance staff are very nice, trustworthy, and always helpful, even during after hours emergencies. I’d highly recommend to anyone."

"Current resident. Moved here from Texas 3/18. The ladies in the front office are phenomenal. They respond to email on the same day, are professional, and friendly. Al, the maintenance guy, is nice to deal with, always waves 'hi', and ensures maintenance needs are taken care of. I have good neighbors, a quiet place, and a really nice apartment. I plan on staying past my lease. Not because I have to, but because I want to. Thanks all, for making me welcome in Michigan."

"I don’t know how some people left a bad review for this place, my parents has been living there for over a year and a half and they never had any problems It’s clean and quiet and the neighbors are very nice and friendly. And when you call the office for any problem they respond to it right away Chris was a problem right but he left I recommend this apartments to everyone one"

"The most uncomfortable place I have ever lived. Let me first state that while it may look like a cozy quiet community on the outside, The Enclave offers one of the most cramped and clustered environments, akin to a trailer park, in the Washington Twp area. The apartments themselves are very drab with white walls throughout, cheap cabinets, and incredibly, no in wall lights in any room. The water pressure in the showers was abyssmal and would barely come out at a decent pressure and it would take usually about 10 minutes for the water to heat to a decent temperature. The plumbing was also disgusting as it would usually have a foul smell coming from it, even when we first moved in. Overall the apartments themselves are very cheap and don't ever come across as "home." But now comes the point in my review where The Enclave truly earns it's one star rating in spades. The management, headed by a couple known as Chris and Yvonne, are some of the most rude and nasty people I have ever met. Expect calls at any hour of the day running the gambit from them complaining that your car is parked incorrectly to not having appropriate blinds (we installed different blinds to escape the white drab atmosphere but no, that too was against the rules) to even her complaining that we were walking at an in appropriate hour. Chris is the other manager that is more apparent throughout the complex in a more "prison warden-esque" way. He is typically driving around in his tan town and country Mini Van patrolling the area and giving an uncomfortable scowl to any resident that comes in his path. When dealing with Chris on a personal level it is also very uncomfortable. There was a time when we called maintenance due to plumbing problems (which are also very frequent at The Enclave) and of course it was Chris that arrived, dirty disgusting plunger in hand. Rather than identify the real issues with the plumbing Chris simply took the plunger and did what he deemed necessary and walked out while it was still dripping throughout our carpet on his way out, dirty shoes still on his feet. Literally no respect for the tenant. Overall our tenure at The "Enclave" was a very uncomfortable one and I implore all potential tenants to svoid this place. The management is the most uncomfortable I have ever dealt with and the apartments themselves are very eery to live in. Overall I would say the complex is a glorified trailer park at best."
