"It didn't all start out good but the new apartment manager is really turning things around here. Some of the apartments need some upgrading but for the cost and area it was definitely a deal. The maintenance crew is great and they're always willing to help. Would recommend checking it out if your looking for an apartment in royal oak."

"Manager Kellie has been nothing but helpful to get into a townhouse and has answered all my questions/concerns when ever I have had one. She has got me some good upgrades and made sure everything was move in ready and clean which is a far difference from my last townhouse in oak park. It’s a great location and unbeatable rent price for the area. Lots of kids for my daughter to play with and all around quite friendly neighbors. Ron the maintenance man has helped me a lot as well and keeps a look out for his neighbors. Super great staff and good neighbors."

"Its affordable. Managmenet is CONSTANTLY being changed, I don't know what they're paying these people but it's showing in the quality (or lack thereof) of communication with management. Calls are rarely answered and thats only after you borderline harass them. Office hours aren't kept. I've been here a long time cause again-affordable and I really do love my place but I'm looking elsewhere. It would be great if they could hire someone who wants to actually manage the apartments."

"This was my first place I moved to on my own. I moved out 2 months ago. At first, I loved it. But, the windows leak cold air causing high electric bill. The water in the shower and faucets comes out orange, due to city water and old pipes I guess. Woke up from my neighbors doing their thing in the middle of the night. Very hot in the summer. Windows are tough to open. Only one ac unit in the dining room. You get what you pay for. I did have bed bugs. My neighbor threw out their mattress a few days before I noticed. These bugs were not from me. I know you could argue how would I know but I've done my research. Landlord stated it would be $200 for me to fix the problem. I told her I'm not paying that and I'll take care of it. It was quite the hassle, causing me to sleep on the floor in my living room for the last few months of my lease. 1 cat is allowed, storage is not a real thing in the basement unless you want to leave your stuff out. I've never done laundry in the building. Only 1 washer and dryer, always in use. The smoke alarm always went off when I showered. In conclusion, it was a great first place. I just think you should be aware of my issues. You get what you pay for."
