Dearborn View Apartments

"From the start of moving here they been annoying ngl. It started off with them taking about 4mons to give us a washer and dryer that was promised to be in the apartment before we moved in. I had to keep hounding them for them to finally bring them in. Let me NOT FORGET!! Whoever they have to renovate the apartments do a poor job! They didn’t paint the walls with the right paint so when you brush against them, you get white powder on your clothes! Also they did not mud the parts where the ceiling and walls meet either. It just looks bad like it’s cracked open throughout the entire apartment. The cabinets and counters are not leveled right. They did not caulk the sinks, tub, and countertops properly. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything! I mean EVERYTHING. Also the trim around the floors were already coming up and some weren’t leveled right. They were basically floating! They don’t give you enough time to file a complaint with that either. It takes a minute for your eyes to settle on all the imperfections.The same with our mail box it took the about 6- 8mons to actually get them to fix that and it was stressful. The buzzer on our building doesn’t work. The front door was also broken for over a year so anyone could get in and out. When they did finally fix it after I complained they did a rig job so the wires are still hanging out the door and you have to struggle to unlock it to get in and sometimes you can’t get in at all and have to go around to the back door. They charge you late fees on the 5th of the month even though they are supposed to give you a 3 day grace period. They also will harass you for $25 it’s the fee for renters insurance and the flex app doesn't include that with your rent so it is something you have to remember on your own. The ppl in the office have attitude problems. They purposely try to evict you so that you have no choice but to stay here because it’s gonna show on your record. It honestly gets under my skin because you would think we would get better treatment given for an entire year we payed in advance and was never late on a bill but the minute your schedule changes and are a few days late on a few months they start with the harassment. They leave notes on your door stating you owe them money and it’s completely disrespectful. They do it to embarrass you. They put it on your door and they put it in your mailbox. I don’t understand why they feel that’s necessary if they already put it in the mailbox. The only reason we are still here is because we are trying to buy a house. Oh! Also! We recommended someone to move here and they got in and they told us we would get $300 off of our rent for that but when we asked about it they act like they don’t know what we are talking about saying we had to fill out paperwork for that acting like I wasn’t present when the new tenant filled out their application and they made me sign where it states that we recommended them. They money hungry and greedy too. It’s not ideal to move here. Its okay if you pay everything on time but the maintenance is poor, the customer service is poor, the apartment quality is poor. Just be prepared to be harassed, possibly embarrassed, be met with poor attitudes with any problems you have, and to constantly contact them just for maintenance to do their job."

"Dearborn view apartments leasing office is a whole JOKE. If I could rate them 0 stars I would, the staff in the leasing office never picks up the phone or return voicemails. You have to call them a million times for them to MAYBE pick up the phone. They give out wrong information, I received an email stating I was approved for a 2 bedrooms apartments and also received a call back from Malteze as well saying I was approved. Took my holding fee and all documents needed from me within the 72 hour time frame as required and 3 days after that I called to ask when my move in date will be and she tells me unfortunately I was not approved I asked why she couldn’t even give me a answer or explain why I received an email saying I was approved and also a call saying I was approved! Would NOT recommend this place at all to anyone!!!"

"Malteze did an excellent job and went above and beyond at helping me gwith the rental process. Really deserve 10 stars instead of 5. Great customer service and i recommend anyone who is interested in getting a budget friendly apartment to look into dearborn view in inkster."

"My experience with Dearborn View Apartments has been nothing short of amazing. From the move in process to being in my unit 3 months now. I can honestly say this is a great place to call home. Move in was extremely quick and painless. I have an updated unit that’s very beautiful and spacious. The pool is nice & clean, the office staff are friendly & maintenance comes out in a timely fashion. I also referred a friend to these apartments and she was moved into her unit within two weeks of applying! If you’re looking for spacious, comfort & affordability Look no further!"
