"2/23/24 Update Maintenance Supervisor Mike & Barbara K. Property Mgr. have gone "above & beyond" to assist me - which I greatly appreciate. As it's often said "Keep doing what you're doing" & Thank-You! At this point I'm unable to rate Maintenance - I'm still waiting on someone to paint the areas on the walls that require painting from scuff marks during the time the contractors installed the updated furnace unit on 2/8/24. A Maintenance Request has been entered just waiting on follow-up."

"Very Disappointing. Got my TIRES STOLEN. I understand you can’t get the tires back. However, when I went to the office no one took it seriously. I expected them to send out an email asking for help/witnesses and they didn’t send anything. My biggest disappointment comes when they brushed it off and aren’t taking measures to better the security and safety of the community. Also, disappointed at the residents. For a complex this big it seems unbelievable how no one saw or has said anything against it. We should try to better every place that we live in. Protect each other as a whole can’t let crime happen around us. As this being said I would NOT recommend Southport Apartments for their inability to act, and the carelessness to better the community and its security. Thank god it was some tires and not a person going missing. But why wait for the drastic events when you can start by at least caring when the small things happen. FYI still expecting a phone call or email."

"I received a message letting me know that maintenance has enter my apartment. It would have been nice if I got a call first. Anyhow, I’m assuming maintenance was in there for less than 5 minutes addressing our issue, because I receive another message letting me know that the service has been completed. When I get home to check to see if the issue was fixed, it wasn’t. Still having the same issue. I don’t think that anything was done and that’s very disappointing. The issue we were having is whenever we operate our stove top or oven we always smell gas. And when we turn on the oven it not only smells like gas but takes a very long time to heat up."

"I’m really happy I’ve found my home here at South Port. The maintenance personnel have been quick on calls and never called back for same issues so far. I’m not familiar with many things as I’ve only been here 3 months and the office staff (ALL of them) have been very helpful. Here is a wonderful shot of the sunrise as I sat on balcony with my coffee. A beautiful way to start the day."

"Been living at Southport Apartments for a few months now and I’ve enjoyed it so much. Residential living complexes that are resident focused are hard to come by. The area feels very safe, management is communicative and is approachable with concerns. We haven’t had any maintenance concerns as of now so I can’t speak on the quickness or effectiveness of maintenance. Although, I do recognize efforts of management continually engaging in work around the buildings/property to heighten the living experience. Replacing street lights, filling in potholes, and ensuring pool patio furniture is new and clean for example. The pool is kept very clean and is such a beautiful spot. The ponds surrounding the property are also well maintained and is a constant attraction for ducks and other wildlife. The area is rather quiet besides some occasional noise from I-94. My neighbors are very considerate and I have yet to come close to any frustration with any noise. Very thankful for the living community Southport has provided and look forward to continuing to call it home."
