"This place is a nightmare for vulnerable people trying to get on their feet and live on their own. Management plays favorites and manipulates residents against one another, and the company is a sleazy, exploitative locally owned multistate corporation filled with nepotism and run like a fascist regime (but lacking any real capacity to solve real problems). When I lived there in 2012-2016, I could not turn on my HVAC vent without getting sick every morning, with violent vomiting and sinus congestion. After having a mold test run in my apartment, it showed levels of Pen/Asp type mold and others at levels much higher than those present outside. Several days after the test (the last time I turned it on) my pet bird died after becoming ill over his last few days. I'm convinced that the mold was the cause of his death and my illness. After bringing this information to the managers and residents, I was manipulated in various ways, ending with the attempt by the infamous Terri the Terrible to evict me. Don't think that a judge will help you here, because they will side with the management on the issue of mold. You have no protection against them in this regard, even as a HUD subsidized housing complex. Get out while you still have breath."

"I've lived here for over 15 years. Apartments are spacious with a huge walk in closet. Two pull cords for emergencies. Grab bars in the tub/shower area. Never had problems with bugs. (Gotta be clean) The management staff (Terry & Jessica) have been wonderful to me! People have to earn respect!! If you are rowdy, break the rules, etc., then don't expect it. Giving is receiving! I am moving and will miss management so very much! Not the residents or neighborhood though. Residents aren't violent. Just not my type. I'm not saying I'm any better than anyone. Just need to move to a place that is more suited for me trying to convince myself that I'm still young! Oh, maintenance (Joe) is fantastic too!"

"Heard gunshots out my 5th floor window today. Living here has been a nightmare. I am looking to move asap and even break the lease if i have too. There is drugs everywhere around here its in a bad neighborhood. I constantly am dealing with harassment from older neighbors even them calling the police. Trust me i will leave as soon as i can. Nothing is good about this place. I even dealt with a cockroach infestation for around 4 days apparantly a lot of people did. Cant wait to get out"

"This is a great place to live. They have different activities going on. Everyone loves bingo, we serve pizza and hot dogs. We even have our own garden. Also a potluck once a month. The apartments are huge. They have a lot of areas of safety in your apartment. Which makes me feel a whole lot better. So if you are on disability or are 62 or older check out Chidester Place, they are a great place to live."
