"Pros: - Close to campus - Avg. Ypsi apartment price (which is still too expensive, but so is everything else in the area) - Don't have to pay water/trash Cons: - Not necessarily safe (the front doors to the apartment buildings are often propped open/the locks are just broken, plus the area just isn't really that safe. Even though it is so close to campus) - NO parking for guests - It's LOUD. Every apartment complex I've lived in is loud for different reasons, but this one is bad because you can basically hear every noise from every resident inside AND outside the building. Someone on a phone call 3 floors BELOW YOU in the laundry room? You can basically hear every word. Walk in the front door on the 2nd floor and an apartment's bass somewhere on the 3rd floor will literally shake the entire building. The WORST by far is the noise outside. On the 3rd floor I can hear every single conversation and sound outside in the parking lot. And when matinence is doing construction on the building (without any email to the residents letting them know) they are YELLING, BANGING stuff, and blasting music on the roof RIGHT above your head all at the same time.This has happened multiples times, early in the morning with no warning .It sounds like there are people inside your apartment with you, the noise is so bad. When you're looking for an apartment in Ypsi or by campus, good luck. It's nearly impossible to find something that's a decent price and worth the headaches you'll get when you move in."
