"Nice apartment(nothing fancy just the basics), office personal is very friendly, maintenance staff are very friendly and contact you before they enter your apartment. All in all I have one complaint….. my packages kept getting stolen so I had to pick them up at the parcel site. Reasonable quiet also!"
"Ever sense we moved here the toilet was broken we call you multiple times and we STILL have a problem with the toilet. And someone went into are apartment with are 15 year old DAUGHTER in the apartment by herself and you said you were checking the apartment even though you said Tuesday you would do an apartment check and you did it on Monday."
"I just want to shout out Ron, the current maintenance man, who spent his Christmas weekend working very hard to get our heat and water working properly. Ron was on site fixing heat for multiple apartments on Christmas Eve morning and again helping clean up a flooded apartment and get the water back on for us Christmas Day morning after a frozen pipe burst. It was an extremely cold holiday weekend, but Ron put the Culver Estate families above his own so we could be warm and have running water. THANK YOU Ron!!!!"
"The weather was beautiful. The apartment was clean, the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. There was miscommunication with the signing of the lease due to power outage. The only adjustments needed are a bathroom fan that does not work, a kitchen faucet that is extremely hard to move, and a showerhead that constricts water. The on-site manager Thomas and on-site maintenance Ron were quick to make the simple repairs with kindness and professionalism. Wanted to add a positive review of the new improved managing team here on site. The past reviews are no longer relevant. So as 2022 if you want a warm peaceful well-managed apartment community this is it for you too!"
"Really gone downhill since Lisa left. Management doesn't care about anything aside from how they appear to the outside. High turnover for management, and we haven't had a consistent maintenance team since Lisa left, so things never get fixed. Half the time your issues are ignored or they tell you to call emergency maintenance yourself. Just comes off as lazy. Multiple of the exterior lights are burnt out, and there isn't exterior lighting on a majority of the property. Also not a super safe place. There is no security at all, no cameras, and the doors to the front buildings do not lock. After a suspected break-in attempt, management said they would change my locks and secure the doors. It took the 5 days to even come to my apartment to secure the door, and they never changed my locks. When I called to ask why they hadn't changed the locks like they told me they would via email, management said "I don't get why you're being so paranoid, you're safe now it's fine". I don't feel safe here anymore, as it does not feel like a priority. It's even included in the lease that they do not care about your safety / make it a priority. Corporate does not seem to want to invest the money to ensure that the location is secure, and Heidi is so bad with dealing with people that she tells you how you "should feel safe" and makes you out to be the problem, rather than dealing with the issues or trying to reassure you as a tenant, rude and not empathetic. They tore up the entire backyard a month or two ago so now it is mostly hay and dirt. Also, tons of people don't pick up their dog poop so it's a bit of a mine-field. Apartments are outdated and seem to be falling apart. Had my closet door fall off about 5 times since I moved in because of a messed up track, and the windows do not retain heat or AC. Seems like a lot of people moved out, and they haven't been able to fill all of the apartments. If you had asked me a few months ago, this place was a great place to live. Not so much anymore. Maybe a change of management or corporate priorities would make a difference, but I feel terrible for recommending this place to others, and even referring a friend here. What I said previously: "This place is pretty great and definitely a step up from the place I used to live in Ypsi at about the same price. Lisa is really quick to get back to you on issues, and a lot of times when you call they are able to send someone to fix things the day of. Place was also really clean when I moved in. It's a pretty quiet and safe area and there is always parking. They maintain the property and the grass is usually cut, and the landscaping is weeded so it looks like a really nice place when people come to visit. Really the only downsides are that sometimes the neighbors smoke inside and the smell can drift into your apartment, how restrictive the dog breeds that are allowed is, and how hot it is inside during the summer. The building I am in really doesn't seem to be built for the heat, and the hallways are always so hot. The AC is only in the living room, mounted on the wall, so the bedrooms get REALLY hot at night, I think that window units are allowed but am not sure. Fans and blackout curtains help a little, but there's a lot of times someone winds up sleeping on the couch in the living room. Also running the AC drives up the electric bill to be close to $150 during the summer months. I haven't been here in the winter, but the heat is in all rooms so I think this will probably only be a summer issue. On the bright side, there is AC to begin with so at least the living room is nice and cool. Stepping into my apartment from the hallways is night and day. They also have a referral program and cute little bulletin boards by the mailboxes that are updated monthly, so management does seem to care about the things they can control. The neighbors I have met have been pretty friendly and will sometimes run to open the door for you if you have groceries or are moving in, so that's nice too. Also lots of people walk their dogs, so you get to pet dogs sometimes.""
